About
Pamela leads the candidate side of NearTalent. She has been placing LatAm tech talent for North American companies since 2013. Her focus is technical assessment design, English proficiency evaluation and cross-cultural fit — the four-stage funnel that produces NearTalent's 96% 90-day retention rate.
Pamela founded SelectionBook in 2016 and has 15+ years in talent acquisition for transnational corporations. She led the consolidation of TuHabi as a unicorn, sustaining 100+ monthly hires through hypergrowth, and founded the compensation club for Mexican Series-C startups — a peer group that benchmarks pay bands across the region's fastest-scaling companies.
Before NearTalent, Pamela led tech recruiting at Latin American offices for regional agencies. She holds direct experience placing 1,000+ engineers, marketers, designers and operators across Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Chile and Peru, and co-founded NearTalent in March 2026 to extend that placement model to US and Canadian companies hiring nearshore.
